Mohit Khaler

Mohit Khaler is an Indian defender who has played four seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), turning out for U Mumba, Haryana Steelers, Puneri Paltan and Tamil Thalaivas. Born on 26 November 2001, he has earned every one of his PKL points on the defensive side of the mat.

PKL career

Khaler’s PKL record covers Seasons 9 to 12. Across those four seasons he has played 53 matches and scored 105 points, all of them tackle points. He has recorded 4 High 5s, the measure of a strong defensive night, and has no Super 10s. That fits his role: his job is to stop raiders, not to score as one.

His PKL record begins with U Mumba in Season 9. He played 20 matches for them and scored 44 tackle points, with 1 High 5.

He followed that with his busiest campaign to date at Haryana Steelers in Season 10. There he played 22 matches, scored 47 tackle points and picked up 2 High 5s. It remains his best season for both points and High 5s.

Season 11 brought a move to Puneri Paltan. He featured in 5 matches there, scoring 13 tackle points and adding 1 High 5.

Season 12

In Season 12 (2025), Khaler played for Tamil Thalaivas. He appeared in 6 matches and scored 1 tackle point, with a tackle strike rate of 33% for the season.

Four seasons in, Khaler has built a steady PKL record as a defender who has been trusted by four different franchises.
