Editorial standards
The Kabaddi Pulse is an independent kabaddi news site. We are not connected to the Pro Kabaddi League, any federation or any team. This page explains how our articles and player profiles are made, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.
How we use AI
We use AI to help us cover more kabaddi news than a small team could write alone. AI-assisted articles and player profiles are drafted from published reports, checked against those reports, and published straight away. Our editor then reads every one and corrects or updates it where needed. Every AI-assisted article says so at the end.
How an article is made
- It starts with real reporting. We only write about stories that are being reported by established news organisations, and we read the full reports, not just the headlines.
- Facts come from sources, never from guesswork. Scores, statistics, dates and quotes must appear in the reports we used. If a detail is unclear or the sources disagree, we leave it out.
- We show our sources. Every article ends with links to the reports it was written from, so you can check them yourself.
- Quotes are never invented. We only quote words that a source reports someone saying, and we say who said them.
- Some stories are not written at all. If the reporting is too thin, or the story repeats something we have already covered, we skip it.
Player profiles
Player facts such as team, position and season statistics come from the official Pro Kabaddi League website. Background comes from published news reports and Wikipedia, which are listed on each profile. We only use photos that are free to reuse, and we credit the photographer.
Are you a player on this site? If anything on your profile is wrong or out of date, or you would like us to use a photo you own, contact us and we will update it.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us. We fix errors as quickly as we can, and when a correction changes the meaning of an article, we say what we changed at the end of it.
Independence, advertising and affiliate links
Our coverage is not paid for by teams, players or leagues. Some pages show advertising or affiliate links, which help pay for the site. Betting offers are only shown to adults in countries where they are legal, and never to readers in India. Nothing we publish is betting advice.
