He moved to U Mumba for Season 4, scoring 37 points in 14 matches with a tackle strike rate of 50.68%. Season 5 with Bengal Warriorz was a standout year. Season 7 took him back to Puneri Paltan, where he scored 65 points in 21 matches and posted 7 High 5s. He then had spells with Tamil Thalaivas in Season 8 (57 points, 2 High 5s), Telugu Titans in Season 9 (19 points in 13 matches) and Bengaluru Bulls in Season 10, where he put together 60 points and 5 High 5s in 21 matches. Style of play
Surjeet is a specialist defender through and through. Of his 496 career points, only 20 have come from raids, and his value to a team lies in the cover. Operating on the right, he relies on well timed blocks and dashes to stop raiders, and his tally of 34 career High 5s reflects how often he has been a reliable source of defensive points over the years.
